Mission

Vegan by El Zamorano started as a pop-up restaurant in 2018 with one goal in mind: Providing authentic vegan Mexican food at an affordable cost to the Orange County area. Thanks to our experience and dedication, we’ve managed to become Orange County's first and only vegan taqueria. Providing dishes that are fresh, hearty and simply unforgettable.

MEET OUR OWNERS

MEET David

Our founder David Aguilar is the core and heart to the recipes at Vegan by El Zamorano. Growing up and working at his parents restaurant, Taqueria El Zamorano, David utilized his years of experience into making traditional Mexican dishes vegan, all while remaining authentic to the taste and culture. Aguilar's recipes are what make Vegan by El Zamorano beat and thrive, they are the experience of our establishment and the foundation between us and our customers. 

Meet Julia

Our co-founder Julia Chavez is the composer to our brand identity and marketing. Her ideas and creativity have taken Vegan by El Zamorano from just being good food to being a brand that values the Mexican heritage and tradition, veganism, customer relations, and us as individuals. We are so incredibly proud to be Orange County's 1st vegan taqueria and thank you all for the tremendous support!
